The Lady Patriots held off a pesky Ipswich Tiger team on Thursday night in Tulare. The first set went point for point as the Patriots missed plenty of serves in the first set to keep it close. The home team ended up picking up the first set win by a score of 26-24.

In set two, it was all Patriots as the Tigers could not seem to find an answer for the Patriots hits and serves. The ladies picked up a convincing 25-8 set two victory.

Set three proved to be another close one as the Patriots had a hard time slowing down the Ipswich Tiger offense. It was point for point most of the way, as the Patriots came out with a 25-23 win and would win the match 3-0.

Offensively in the match, Katelyn Schroeder led the team with 23 kills. Rebecca Huizenga and Ella Johnson each added 4 kills. The Patriots recorded 7 aces on the night, with Schroeder picking up 3 of those aces.
