The Patriots dropped a tough three set match to the Miller Rustlers last Thursday. Set scores were 27-29, 17-25, and 23-25. Things did not go the Patriots way, as the ladies struggled with all aspects of the game.
Katelyn Schroeder led the team with 17 kills. Ella Johnson had a nice night at the net with 8 kills. Rebecca Huizenga also added 5 kills. Lila Johnson recorded 20 assists and Gracyn Bixler added 11.
Only two aces were recorded in the match. One by Isabel Gilbert and another by Schroeder.
Cambree Hoekman led the defense with 17 digs, followed by Schroeder and Lila Johnson each with 12. Cora Hofer recorded 4 block assists. Gilbert and Huizenga also each recorded 3 block assists. Gilbert would also add a solo block.
The JV and Jr. High also dropped their matches to the Rustlers.
The Patriots drop to 23-2 on the season and will be back in action on Tuesday night as they travel to Castlewood to take on the Warriors.
