Hitchcock-Tulare School District 56-6

The HT Patriots were defeated by the Sully Buttes Charges last Friday night. We battled well for about a quarter and a half; it was 12 to 16 at one point. The game definitely pushed the limits of some or our players mental and physical toughness. I know our players will continue to improve and will overcome those challenges in the future. For those that saw the game and haven't heard, #8 Payton Chasing Hawk left late in the game with an unknown injury. It ended up being a minor injury and he is back to his normal self. Payton had two receiving touchdowns in the game, one for 66 yards. We had a few others banged up in the game, but are resting up during our bye week this week and hopefully we will be ready to go for next Friday playing Sunshine Bible Academy in Hitchcock for our homecoming game.
